Trust Fund Welcomes New Board Members

Mary Marshall, New Board Chair

The Idaho Children's Trust Fund is governed by a 10 member board made up of representatives from each of the 7 judicial regions and a representative from the Attorney General's office, the Department of Education and the Department of Health and Welfare. As of July we now have three new board members and a new chairperson.

• Region 2 will now be represented by Eileen Uhlenkott from Cottonwood who replaces Marilyn Giddings from Riggins.
• Region 4 will be represented by Iris Hunter from Boise who replaces Monte MacConnell from Oasis.
• Region 6's new representative is Sarah Leeds from Pocatello replacing Lynn Miner, also from Pocatello.
• Mary Marshall of Jerome is the new chair.
   

On behalf of the board and staff of the Trust Fund, we thank all of the departing board members for their service and a special thanks to Monte MacConnell for so ably chairing the board these past few years. We are excited for the new insights we will get from the new board members who have a wealth of experience in working with children and families.

The Idaho Children's Trust Fund is comprised of seven volunteers appointed by the Governor who represent different regions of the state. In addition, the board has three representatives appointed by the Attorney General, the Superintendent of Public Instruction and the Director of the Department of Health and Welfare. 

The Trust Fund is staffed by an Executive Director and a Grants Manager and an office specialist.
