Ben Tanzer

Ben Tanzer is the Director of Strategic Communications for Prevent Child Abuse America in Chicago, where he has been for the past 9 years. Until his recent job change he had been the Director of Chapter Services where he worked with the organization’s 41 state affiliates. In his current assignment, Ben is responsible for PCAA’s message and media work at all levels. He has been working with the Frameworks Institute on developing new ways to talk about prevention of child abuse and neglect.

When he’s not doing his thing with PCAA, Ben shoots pool, compulsively watches High School Musical, and spends all sorts of quality time with his lovely wife and young sons. He is a writer and has had work published in a variety of magazines and journals including Rated Rookie, Clamor, Punk Planet, Abroad View, Opium, THE2NDHAND, Thieves Jargon, The Truth Magazine, Chicago Parent, Third Coast Press, 20dissidents, and Caketrain. He has also published a novel called Lucky Man, which appears to be getting great reviews!
